| Customer Reviews: Clear, Sharp, Crisp sounding speakers August 20, 2009 KAC I also recently purchased these to replace Klipsch F1 floor standing speakers. I purchased a new flat screen LCD to replace a rear projection LCD and needed new slimmer front speakers to compliment the thinner wall mounted LCD. These speakers were a huge improvement over the Klipsch F1's. The speakers are sharper, higher end crisp notes and clear sounding at all volume levels. They do lack a little with the bass, but if you have a sub woofer this is not noticeable. I also purchased a Mythos seven center channel speaker to match the Mythos fives. The speakers sound awesome together and I would definitely recommend buying matching components. Overall these speakers produce an excellent sound quality and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for sleek high quality sounding speakers.
My System February 17, 2010 James (United States) My system consists of Mythos 4's for the Front speakers, Mythos 5's for the rear surrounds, a Mythos 3 for the center channel and a Super Cube II for the sub. I drive these with a Denon 2310ci and my video is a Pioneer Elite KURO signature series 60" monitor 141FD. My AV room is around 14' x 20.
The sound from this system is really nice. Clean and uncolored, very natural best describes it. The system also has a great Wife Acceptance Factor. The look is classy and does not look out of place in the room. The center channel is amazingly clear. I've always had a complaint about the muffled center channel sound on many home systems. This center delivers. The Denon Audyssey setup leaves a sound stage that is close to perfect. No holes or hotspots. The sub is powerful and moves a tremendous amount of air for it's diminutive size.
I find that the system is as good for listening to music as it is for surround sound and while not inexpensive, it is one of the best bang for the buck systems I've ever listened to. I've owned this system for a little over a year and would buy it again today in a heartbeat.
Great sounding speakers August 9, 2009 D. Rees (Silverdale, WA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nice sounding speakers that look good as well. I recently replaced my Klipsch speakers that had served me well for many years with a pair of these Mytos 5's and have been very satisfied. They don't have the "powerful" punch that the Klipsch had but the range and sound quality are very good. They are actually quite heavy considering there smaller size. I use these as front speakers and they seem to work well but have little bass so you will need a good subwoofer. I use a velodyne mini v that when combined with the mythos sound excellent.

Very good speaker and the sound is amazing. They look very nice on the side of my 52" Sharp 52D85UN.Price was 202$ and it was good choice to buy them.I have Onkyo TX-606 7.1 receiver and everything together is a solid Home Theater.I can tell you one thing, Amazon service is more then good.I'm giving them 5 stars.
