This is a great sub. Great with both movies (BOOM!) and music (tight). But you have to dial it in! Take some time, read your receiver and speaker manuals, do your homework. It has to be adjusted for your system. Also give it a week or so to break in - many have reported this sub becomes bassier and more responsive with a little time. I paired this with a set of Polk TSi300 towers and couldn't be happier with the result. Looks awesome too - very well designed.

I went thru a few subwoofers before deciding on this model and I am COMPLETELY satisfied. I have it hooked up to an Onkyo TX-SR607 (which is also amazing) and this thing shakes walls, rattles windows, and makes my body shiver. Get this subwoofer before you spend way more than is necessary. Heck, for the price you can get two and have twice the fun :)

I ordered this subwoofer based upon reviews from others who had purchased it from Amazon and decided to take a chance as we were going to install it in a good sized room. We put it in our living room which is about 20' X 30' with a 12' cathedral ceiling and hooked it up to our new Pioneer VSX 9040TXH Receiver using the Monster 16' Subwoofer Interconnect Cable. WOW! It's great. Our music and movies never sounded so good.
Now, let me confess, this is the first powered subwoofer I've owned but I can't imagine needing any more power. It does not rattle the doors but it'll definitely wake you up and keep you awake! It's got all of the power I need and then some, we've never turned the volume all the way up so I don't know what it'd do if you wanted to drive it full bore. It also has a feature that I didn't see listed in the specifications, that is namely an "auto standby" which shuts off the amp after 15 minutes of no signal from the receiver. Nice touch.
One last note. I paid a little extra for 2-3 business day delivery. I ordered this subwoofer along with the Pioneer receiver at about 1P.M. on Thursday and received both of them at about 3P.M. on Friday. Fantastic! Thank you Amazon.

I bought this as a subwoofer for my Fender Passport 300 PA system and it is the perfect match. Really fills out the much-needed bottom end of my sound very nicely with a pure rich tone. I highly recommend this product which was promptly delivered within just a few days of my order.

I don't have a huge room for my home theater so this sub works perfect for me. I have seen some reviews that say that it took a little while for this sub to "come alive". I have no idea what that means to those reviewers but I didn't have a break-in period for mine. I played with the settings when I first got it and it has performed perfectly ever since. Only until recently when I purchased a Denon AVR-591 5.1 Channel A/V Home Theater Receiver with Audyssey MultiEQ room correction technology did I think that the entire listening experience woke up. It was good before and it's incredible now. This is matched to Polk Audio RM85 satellite speakers and the total combination is nothing short of great for my room environment and my listening preferences. I highly recommend this sub.
